BMW has recently welcomed a new member of the 6-Series family, the Gran Coupe, which opens the doors for an entire range of new possibilities. Since we’re taking an open-minded look at the Bavarian carmaker’s range, we have to see what other version of the 6-Series BMW could offer.
The 6-Series Gran Coupe is a rival for the Audi A7 and Mercedes CLS, but the latter will also receive a shooting brake version, which is scheduled to debut at next year’s Geneva Auto Show, once with the 6-Series Gran Coupe.
Thus, BMW could also give us a rival for this estate version of the CLS, in the form of the 6-Series Gran Touring. We know, the business case for such a model isn’t the most solid one, as the Germans already offer the F11 5-Series Touring, but we’re inviting you to take a look at the adjacent renderings of the car, which were released by artist Theophilus Chin.
