Unveiled a few days ago, the 2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible received its first video presentation yesterday, in which the company’s head of exterior design, Domagoj Dukec, explains the new cabriolet’s exterior styling.
Dukec says the 4 Series Cabriolet sets itself apart from the 3 Series thanks to its wider and thinner kidney grills, different bonnet lines, sportier lower air intakes and a longer rear deck, while the roof sits more upright than on the 4 Series Coupe.
Scheduled to make its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next month, the 4 Series Cabriolet will become available in four lines - Sport, Modern, Luxury and M Sport - and with a choice of three engines - 420d, 428i and 435i - with power outputs ranging from 184 HP to 306 HP.
The new cabriolet will arrive with prices starting from $49,675 in the United States.
