BMW E92 3 Series Wins Edmunds' Best Retained Value Award

Each year, the guys from Edmunds.com, put together a top ranking the way various cars retain their value over time. They have various categories based on the price tag of each car.
The categories include are divided amongst sedans, wagons, coupes, convertibles, trucks, SUVs, Vans and Hybrid/Electric cars. Most segments are divided by price range, from $20,000 (€15,000) up to over $45,000 (€33,800), depending on the body type.

This year's Best Retained Value Award for coupes between $35,000-$45,000 (€26,000-€33,800) went to BMW's E92 3 Series, leaving the competition's Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class behind, once again.

“Regardless of body style, the 2013 BMW 3 Series is an impressively well-rounded and highly desirable entry-level luxury car,” the Edmunds editors noted.

At the moment, the 3 Series is available in the US in 328i and 335i models and combine the trademark BMW performance and driving dynamics with class-leading value.
