Looking around the internet and BMW forums you'll probably find all kinds of M3s and customized Bimmers. A lot of these cars reach impressive numbers when it comes to power, but 800 WHP? That seems a lot, even for an M3.
The car in this video pulls out of a McLaren dealership in Greenwich, Connecticut and the driver doesn't miss the chance to impress his audience. The sound of the car is unbelievable but we're interested in something else.
According to the uploader, the car has 900 HP and about 800 of those reach the wheels and tarmac. That is an insane number, even for the E90 M3's V8. However, after some research, we found out that the car belongs to an M3Post member and is developing a bit less power.
The forum info says the 3er has an ESS Supercharger and puts down 680 WHP. That's more likely than the 800 figure stated previously and a lot easier to achieve, using a ESS VT2-650 Supercharger system that takes your engine from 420 HP to 775 HP. Considering the friction and power loss caused by the transmission, 680 WHP is a reasonable number.
Nevertheless, the car is impressive. Just watching it for a couple of seconds in this video will surely get your blood flowing, just listen to that supercharger.
