Colored wheels seems to be a thing these days. A couple of years back just mentioning red wheels to some claimed ‘gearhead’ would cause involuntary spams and gags but today things seem to be different.
Lately more and more cars with wheels in various colors show up, from yellow to bring red, light this E46 3 Series, right here. This one hails from Bali and belongs to a man that owned a plethora of cars along the years.
For this Bimmer though, he went for a more unconventional look due to those Volk Racing G12 wheels measuring 19x8.5 inches at the front and 19x9.5 inches at the back, painted RED! That’s right, red. Whether he went for this particular color to match the red calipers from Brembo sitting behind, or if it was the other way around, I don’t know at the moment but I do know that the car looks rather good, especially thanks to the contrast with the deep blue body.
Other modifications include a complete M Tech body kit, Weitech coilovers by KW, BMW Motorsport Camshaft cover an Eisenmann race exhaust and a bored 3.1-liter engine that makes 225 WHP and 303 Nm of torque mated to an M3 5-speed gearbox.
