It’s not a secret that the F01/F02 7 Series is living its final years of production, a replacement being already in the works, in the shape of the G11/G12 models that we already saw testing.
BMW knows that people are enticed by what they saw in the concept that previews the upcoming 7er, the Vision Future Luxury, but still wants to sell the current flagship. In this regard, they just announced a new, special model that can be ordered starting this summer.

Named Edition Exclusive, the new 7 Series will comprise metallic paintwork, 19 inch light-alloy wheels in V-spoke design, specifically developed for this model, an enhanced version of the exclusive Nappa leather and an instrument cluster finished in leather.

Of course, you can change these last options if you’d like, with more expensive alternatives, like Merino fine grain leather and Alcantara roof lining.

The Edition Exclusive will be available for the BMW 7 Series Sedan and the BMW 7 Series Sedan with extended wheelbase and can be combined with all engine variants, unlike other special edition 7ers that were restricted to one powerplant.

Furthermore, the Edition Exclusive acts more line a special package, as it won’t be limited to a number of units and will be available for anyone that wants one and is willing to pay for it.
