The F10 (current generation) BMW 5 Series is starting to receive more and more modification packages. The latest aftermarket program for the German saloon comes from Hamman, and plays with the vehicle’s exterior, as well as with its interior. Surprisingly, the exterior kit resembles BMW’s M package, offering the same sort of understated aggression.

The package includes a front bumper with generously-sized air intakes and daytime running lights that use LED technology, side skirts with air intakes placed in front of the rear wheels, a roof spoiled and a boot lid small spoiler lip, a revised rear apron (the lower area has been modified), as well as transparent taillights.

As far as the tech mods are concerned, the vehicle gets a sport exhaust system with four round tailpipes (each one measures 90 mm in diameter) and a sports suspension that uses stiffer springs and lowers the ride height by 35 mm. The vehicle rides on custom lightweight alloy rims that can come in a 20- or 21-inch size.

The interior of the Hamman BMW 5 Series has also been modified, receiving a sports steering wheel, carbon trimming, aluminum pedals and custom floor mats.

This development is an excellent thing from multiple points of view. If you ask us, we’re more than happy to receive any product that enhances the German saloon, as this not only delights us but also keeps us busy, diverting our attention from the M5’s release - we really can’t stand waiting until the Shanghai Auto Show to see the M5 Concept.
