Last night, the guys from WhatCar? handed out their usual Car of the Year Awards. In the Best Coupe category the BMW 435i M Sport automatic won, defeating the cheaper Seat Leon SC and Audi TT.
The only argument they brought forward was that “Quite simply, the 435i is a car you’ll be happy to get into and reluctant to get out of.” That’s enough for me! Furthermore, all reviews posted everywhere confirmed what they said.
BMW went home with two awards, though, the second one being handed out in the Green Car category, for the brilliant, new i3. The 2014 Car of the Year award went to Nissan’s Qashqai 1.5 dCi Acenta 2WD.
Other notable appearances were the Mk7 VW Golf, Range Rover Sport, Audi A3 Saloon and Mercedes-Benz S350 Bluetec, each of them winning their respective categories. For more info, check the press release posted below.
