Right now, BMW only offers the new F30 sedan and the old coupe and cabrio in the 3-Series range in China. But that could change, as the automaker has filed a Patent to protect the shape of the 3-Series Touring, which could indicate the model is going to arrive there soon.
The new F31 3-Series Touring was unveiled a few months ago. It rides on the same platform as the sedan, uses the same engines and offers the same interior quality.
In Europe, the Touring comes with a split-folding rear seat arrangement and a powered tailgate on range-topping models. It also has a rear window that opens separately from the tailgate.
The 3-Series Touring has never been offered in China before, but we can tell you that compared to the model before it, ti’s wider, longer and offers 10% more cargo room. The engine range should be made up of the same four- and six-cylinder units as the sedan, which is built in China for the local market by Brilliance.
