The whole idea behind the new car was to offer an alternative to the people that don’t really need all that sportiness that BMW offers but still want luxury and premium materials to play around with.
The Active Tourer offers just that. For carrying items it’s a brilliant car. The rear backseat folds 40:20:40 allowing your to store almost anything you need. Furthermore, thanks to its new architecture and front seats, the 2er can carry items up to 2.4 meters long, making it perfect for a whole new demographic.
Sure, the old-school BMW aficionados won’t ever agree with such a car but for them, the Bavarians still have a wide range of other models that will appeal to every possible need they might have. Everybody’s happy!
