Since BMW only chose to make 2,700 examples of the excellent 1-Series M Coupe, many people who may have wanted one were not able to buy it. Well, now there’s an even better alternative on the market, which will undoubtedly more than satisfy their needs, and some.
The car in question is a ‘replica’ of the aforementioned M-car, featuring similar styling and getting the same low and wide stance as the 1M. However, the main difference lies under the bonnet, where this car, built by TJ Fahrzeugdesign, gets the superb V10 powerplant, which used to reside under the bonnet of the previous generation M5 and M6. Furthermore, it gets a remapped ECU, which pushes power up to 550 hp - 43 hp more than stock.

The company has not stopped there, though, as they have bestowed onto it the brakes and transmission from the X6 M, as well as some snazzy-looking 20-inch rims, which really make it pop. Performance numbers are very impressive, with the car completing the benchmark sprint in 4.2 seconds, before topping out at 325 km/h (202 mph).

If you are interested, and we’re sure you are, the entire kit costs €20,000, and it takes about 350 hours to fit.
