Some motorbike riders really love to show off their skills, yet they do so in very dangerous ways. A 26 year-old man from Yorkshire, Lukasz Wisniewski, was recently banned for 12 months from riding, after doing a wheelie at 103 mph (165 km/h), just as he was passing a police van with a camera, on the A63.
The ‘incident’ took place in June of this year, and police have only now released the footage, after Lukasz made a court appearance, last week. Aside from the 12-month ban, he has also been sentenced to 200 hours of community service, as well as taking an extended driving test, in order to recoup his license.
The moral behind all this? Don’t do wheelies, or at least not in front of a police van which is recording your every move.
