Bentley wants us to believe that this special edition version of their luxury barge is going to be more of a driver’s car. Only time will tell if that’s the case, but from the looks of things, the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification that will debut in Geneva next month doesn’t look all that thrilling.
Especially for this special car, Bentley designed new 21-inch, light aluminium alloy wheels with racederived, titanium fasteners, bright-finished rims and 265/40 ZR21 tyres. The vents on the lower part of the front fenders are also new, designed to resemble the ‘Flying B’ badge and engraved with the Mulliner logo.
The power of the Mulsanne’s mighty V8 has been left unchanged, but Bentley will allow you to play with the Drive Dynamics Control system to change the setup. This now features a Sport setting that is supposed to offer "enhanced grip, body control and steering accuracy, without compromising ride comfort".
At the same time as the Mulsanne Mulliner, Bentley will also debut f two new options for the Mulsanne range: a large tilt-opening, tinted glass sunroof and an electrically operated bottle cooler complete with hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal champagne flutes.
