England and Ireland have some of the coolest riding roads as they run through lonely fields and hills. But even if there’s no traffic to disturb your ride, you have to be as aware of your surroundings as always, or you get to hit the ditch just as this fellow here.
So we have this guy filming the ride from aboard his Kawasaki Versys and his buddy at the helm of a nice red Suzuki SV650 happily roaming around some beautiful plains on a narrow snaking road.

You can tell the man that is filming that he is an experienced rider as he prefers to maintain a sane speed for the conditions provided and not get involved in any shenanigans that might be inspired by the empty road.

Unlike his buddy on the SV650 who really tries to put on a show for the camera. The whole thing lasted until a series of quick corners where the guy either entered a classic target fixation case, or he got surprised by the bends and forgot what to do.

That’s because he went straight out of the road, hitting a ditch and somersaulting his bike out into the field. It looks brutal to look at, but he was OK thanks to the tall and fluffy grass he landed on.

The bike got some damage to its right side, as in no more brake lever and fairing. Luckily, the next guy who stopped at the scene happened to be a bike mechanic and gave the machine a quick check to see if it’s still roadworthy.

It was functional, but without the front brake and with a scared beginner rider in the saddle there was no way taking it back home. Luckily, the more experienced man swapped seats with the former, and that’s how they went back.
