With a few exceptions, all Batman movies have been awesome ones. Some say it's because of the fighting and caped costumes, but we think the Batmobile had something to do with it as well. This crime-fighting vehicle from Gotham city is the most widely recognized vehicle of the comicbook world and for the past 7 years, director Chris Nolan's vision has stood head and shoulders above the older models.
With so many young fans, it was only a matter of time until somebody tried to make a baby stroller out of the iconic Tumbler. A Hollywood special effects shop took it upon itself to make this dream come true.

What kid is worthy of having the only Tumbler baby stroller in the world? One that at 18 months of age spoke his first words: "na na na na na… Batman!" How cute is that?

The Tumbler has a very complicated and futuristic shape that borrower from the world of stealth aeronautics. A steel frame first had to be built, upon which black PVC frames are added to create the final look.

It took a whole team of fabricators the best part of 7 days to build, sand, paint and put the finishing touches on the Tumbler stroller. We think it looks so good it belongs in the Batman museum, but the crime-fighting baby carrier will probably spend its days in the park. Check it out and tell us what you think.

About the Tumbler

This tank-like Batmobile first appeared in Christopher Nolan’s visionary film The Dark Knight. The film director wanted something raw and realistic, a stealth vehicle designed by Wayne Enterprises for the US Army. Gone were the batrays and batphones, replaced with very real guns and an afterburner that helped it jump from the rooftops of buildings. In the 1960s TV series, Batman and Robin road around on a motorcycle and sidecar called the Batcycle. Nolan brought it back in the second movie with the "Batpod" used to fight the Joker and later on borrowed by Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.
