New And Improved Batpod on a Budget from Vietnam

To build new motorcycle in Europe, BMW Motorrad needs computers, billions of euros and years of testing. But give a Vietnamese enthusiast a hammer and a couple of spanners, and he’ll build something awesome.
Want proof? Here’s a clone of the batpod for The Dark Knight movies built using car bits and metal tubing. We showed you a crude version of the build back in July, but now one of our readers brought this finished version to our attention.

Despite its unwieldy shape, the bike leans into corners quite nicely. But we can’t imagine Bruce Wayne riding around on a bike with revolving exhausts. The tires are also from a car and are hindering the performance, but it just goes to show what you can do with scrap metal and resourcefulness.
