Barracuda Tzunamee Porsche 911 GT3 Presented

Porsche 911 is one of the favorite toys for tuners from around the world, with modifications for the rear-engined coupe coming our way at a fast pace.

Some of the tuning kits for the 911 offer a radical transformation that turn the German coupe into a hypercar that blitz the Autobahn, while others just come with a discreet set of changes that underline the car’s factory stock assets.

The latest modification pack destined for the Porsche 911 comes from Barracuda wheels. We are talking about a set of custom lightweight alloy rims that are destined for the GT3 version of the car.

Dubbed Barracuda Tzunamee, the wheels come in a 20-inch size and use a five double-spoke design, while offering a two-tone finish (the colors of choice are black matte and silver). However, the tuner offers clients the possibility to choose between multiple finishes, with the list of options also including colors like High-Gloss Black, Real-Chrome and White-Polished.

The rims measure 9x20 inches for the front axle and 11x20 inches for the rear one. The product is suitable for both the 996 (previous generation) and 997 (current incarnation) of the 911 GT3.

The Barracuda Tzunamee Porsche 911 GT3 rims are approved by the German TUV organization, with the pricing information currently being unavailable.

As a reminder, we’ll tell you that the 997 generation 911 GT3 uses a 3.8-liter naturally-aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine that delivers 435 hp and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. This pushes the car past the 62 mph mark in 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 194 mph. However, the GT3 version's main asset is the fact that it offers pure driving sensations, totally involving the driver in the experience.
