Grex Helmets, one of the Nolan brands, announces two all-new kids’ helmets, sporting Hot Wheels and Barbie-themed graphics, adding a dash of even cooler styling to the motorized world.
These helmets are the result of two iconic Italian brands, Nolan and Mattel, two world-famous brands, well-known for motorcycle helmets and toys, respectively. Since Grex was already producing the G1.1 Visor semi-jet helmets for children, it was the natural choice for expanding the range.
Grex’ new helmets are offered in a boys’ trim and a girls’ version. The boys’ model is Hot Wheels-branded, while its girls’ counterpart bears the Barbie badging. The first comes in light blue, with multiple Hot Wheels logos in the background and prominent ones on the sides, while the latter sports a background with blonde curls and the Barbie logo in pink, with a contrasting contour.
Both helmets come with dual-density internal EPS liners and breathable fabric as comfort liners, with Sanitized treatment. Visors are made from Lexan polycarbonate, and the retention systems use adjustable micrometric buckles. These helmets are available in sized XXXS through S, and are engineered for riders ages 5 to 14. The MSRP is €81 ($111) and they are street legal, as they comply with the European road regulations. So if you have been looking for the first helmet of your kid, Grex’ two new very stylish options should make choosing a bit easier.
