We recently stumbled onto one of the most interesting tuned hatchbacks we’ve seen in a while. The project car is interesting all on its own, the world’s only compact hybrid luxury hatchback, the CT 200h. It’s not a major success story for Lexus, but clearly it’s doing what the Japanese wanted it to, which is to bring new, much younger buyers to the brand.
After all, we can’t imagine the usual 50 to 60 year old LS driver slamming his car to the ground on custom wheels and shocks.
The project car also features an extreme 1st Aimgain body kit and an exhaust system inspired by the IS-F. In case you were wondering what’s shining in these pictures, we’ll tell that 25,000 Swarovsky crystals were used throughout the whole car.
