With all the supercharged hype brought by the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, people sometimes forget how awesome the C6 Z06 is.
Sure, the 7-liter C6 does need a few mods to be able to give C7 Z06-fighting machines a hard time, but the results of such a massage can be remarkable.

Let's take the 'Vette in the clip below, for instance. With the help of some engine compartment work, this Z06 manages to take on a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a Nissan GT-R. Oh and let's not forget that BMW M3. And by that we mean it walks them.

Fortunately, all the battles mentioned above take place at the drag strip, with the machines battling it out at the Street Car Takeover Atlanta.

This LS7 received some technical attention

While we don't have the complete list of technical upgrades received by this Z06, we can tell you the vehicle features a custom cam, intake, as well as a shot of nitrous.

However, judging by the drag strip action in the footage, the Corvette doesn't use its nitrous at every pass, keeping this special move for the opponents that truly require it.

Since this Z06 doesn't pack any exterior mods that tell its extra muscle story, you can say we're dealing with an element of surprise here.

However, the soundtrack of the LS7, which has been changed thanks to that cam update, will tell trained drivers that this one is a dangerous beast. At the same time, the aural side of the experience offers us a delicious treat.

One of the best parts of the action we see here is that the driver has to work with a manual, which means he sweats for each of the blistering-fast launches that send the Corvette to victory.
