Lawn mowers come in all shapes and sized, but we didn’t know Audi produces such pieces of machinery. We bet you didn’t either, and we’re ready to show you an example of this, one that comes with a proper S badge.
The B5 Audi S4 Avant in the clip below uses its mods to trim the grass at a festival where the go-fast estate was showcased. With flames and extreme flow moments, the poor grass didn’t stand a change.

This all seems the effect of an anti-lag system, which you can recognise thanks to the obsessive popping effect, as well as the flames mentioned above. Then again, it only makes sense for an owner seeking extreme hp to turn to such mods.

The B5 S4, which was offered in the late 90s and early 2000s, was powered by a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6. In factory stock form, the unit delivers 261 HP (265 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque and we’re referring to the Euro-spec seen in the video.

Nevertheless, installing a heftier turbocharger, along with the required supporting mods, is what many owners turned to, so this is just one example of what you can do with your B5 S4.

This story somehow reminds us of Honda, which holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest lawn mower. Honda’s Mean Mower, which is not at its first release, managed to hit 116.57 MPH (KM/H) while running through a 100-meter speed trap.

The Guinness regulations stipulate that, in order to be eligible for the record, such a machine must still be able to cut grass, so perhaps this Audi has a chance at challenging the Mean Mower.
