Audi RS5 Cabrio Facelift Hits the Track in Promo Clip

Audi has just launched the revamped version of the RS5 Cabrio and now the first promo clip for the car is out. The video takes the topless RS5 to the track, where the car is put though its paces.
The RS5 Cabrio borrows the Coupe’s naturally-aspirated 4.2-liter V8, which delivers 450 hp at 8,250 rpm and 430 Nm (318 lb-ft) of torque between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm.

However, despite the fact that Audi brags it has chose to keep the cloth soft top thanks to the weight advantage, the vehicle is still heavier than the coupe due to the fact that the chassis had to be strengthened.

Thus, the 0 to 62 mph sprint is completed in 4.9 seconds, while this takes 4.5 seconds in the coupe. As for the top speed, this is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h), but can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph).

As we previously reported, the model will also be arriving Stateside.
