Audi of America today announced that it has registered a new annual sales record, having sold 102,055 units with a month to go until the end of the year, a figure that slightly exceeds that of the already 2010 record year, when the carmaker sold 101,629 vehicles.
Audi has registered record US sales in every month of the year to date and the carmaker expects to also register a record November 2011, when the full results for the month are released later in the current week.
In addition to that, Audi has also set a new sales record with tits Certified pre-owned vehicles, with the division registering sales of 33,102 units through the end of Thanksgiving, a figure that can be translated into a 32 percent increase over the previous year.
Audi credits the restructuring of its business model as well as the constant flow of new models for these results.
