According to CAR Magazine, the battle of the American-like convertibles will also see the Audi A9 joining the fray in 2014. The A9 is expected to share its underpinnings with the aluminum constructed A8 and be built alongside the flagship sedan, as well as the R8 supercar, at Audi’s plant in Neckarsulm, Germany by 2015 if it gets the production green light.
