Audi A8 Refined by Hofele Design

Volkswagen Group-dedicated tuner Hofele Design has prepared a tuning package for the Audi brand’s flagship sedan, the recently introduced A8.

The German tuner has upgraded both engines currently available on the A8. The luxury sedan’s 4.2 liter FSI V8 petrol powerplant has been upgraded from its stock figures of 372 HP and 445 Nm of torque to 400 HP and 475 Nm of torque.

This enables the car to shave half 0.4 seconds of its 0-100 km/h acceleration time, managing to complete the task in 5.3 seconds.

The 4.2 liter TDI diesel V8 unit’s power has been increased from 350 HP to 395 HP, while its torque figure has received a 80 Nm boost, reaching 880 Nm. This allows the diesel A8 to reach the 100 km/h mark 0.1 seconds faster than its petrol brother, as the car needs 5.2 seconds to deal with the first hundred.

The Hofelle A8 features a stainless steel exhaust system with quadruple tailpipes and a bespoke flap-controlled sound variation system. The car’s suspension can now be controlled through a ETS module: the driver can choose to lower the vehicle by 40 to 80 mm. In addition to that, the luxury sedan comes with a high performance braking system that uses six piston calipers.

The car comes dressed in a complete styling kit, comprising of a new front bumper that features new air intakes, fresh front fenders, redesigned side skirts, a bespoke rear bumper housing an air diffuser and a rear spoiler lip. These are complemented by a set of 20 inch rims.
