Americans certainly like cars with a hefty ground clearance, which is why Audi will probably bring back the Allroad nameplate to the US market pretty soon.
Company executives told Car and Driver that the carmaker plans to reintroduce this in the US, where it was last seen in 2005, on the A6 Wagon. It seems that the first vehicle with this badge that will hit the US market will be the A4 Allroad, which is expected to arrive in 2013, as a 2013 model.
The A4 range should receive a facelift next year, whit the move being included in the revamp plan. However, we’ve recently seen a set of A6 Allroad spyshots, and this car will probably join the A4 Allroad in its US offensive soon after the later’s introduction.
