It’s been a while since we last heard of edo competition, but the waiting is paying off the company’s fans. The tuners released details on their Aston Martin DBS upgrade, but without giving any details on the pricing. However, what we do know, is the Bond car brings improvements in both styling and performance.
First thing's first, the German specialists improved the power output of the 12-cylinder flagship from Aston Martin. Thanks to a software recalibration, a new high performance exhaust system, special catalytic converters and high flow air filters, power output was increased to 550 hp and 600 Nm.
The extra power is enough to enable the car to accelerate from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
Furthermore, the exhaust system has also been modified so that “it provides good torque at low engine speeds without sacrificing top end horsepower.” The driver can adjust the sound of the DBS at any time using a remote control.
For better handling, the edo Aston Martin DBS comes with a new suspension system adjustable in height, compression and rebound damping. The edo Aston Martin DBS also comes with better brakes including 405 mm rotors with 6-piston monoblock calipers for the front and 380 mm rotors with 6-piston monoblock calipers for the rear.
For the interior, the edo Aston Martin DBS program includes a carbon fiber shifter and shifter console. The customer can choose various kinds of materials for the trim parts.
