Aston Martin DB9 Targeted by RSC Tuning

The RSC Tuning Aston Martin DB9 aftermarket project isn't aimed at offering the vehicle a custom flavor. Instead, the owner chose to keep a stock look but with a little bit of tuning topping. This is true both for the visual upgrades, which could very well remain unnoticed for an untrained eye, as well as for the tech mods. However, the performance part of the project is a little bit more serious and will manage (not all the parts have been installed yet) to give the car a wilder personality.

So, let's start with the tech goodies, a list of mods that are aimed at increasing performance in a straight line and also through the corners, where the driver will be able to push the car harder.

The vehicle's 6.0 liter V12 engine has received a sports exhaust system, which increases performance and adds audio bonus points, as well as a set of performance air filters, with the unit scheduled to be gifted with two other upgrades soon: ECU remap and 100 cell secondary sport catalysts. We'll remind you that the stock version of the powerplant delivers 450 hp and a maximum torque of 420 lb-ft (570 Nm), pushing the car past the 62 mph limit in 4.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 186.4 mph (300 km/h).

The DB9's stock rims were replaced with a set of COR ones that use a multi-spoke design and come in a generous size. The vehicle now sits closer to the road, as it has been fitted with a set of lowering springs.

The list of exterior mods includes clear taillights and a Vantage Collection Rear Diffuser - the only modified part is the rear: this can only be seen by those defeated in the overtaking battle - an interesting choice.

The interior has been left in stock condition, except for the addition of custom floor mats.
