Aston Martin V8 Vantage ”Helvellyn Frost” by MW Design

Taking its name from that of a mountain range in England, the frozen matte white Aston Martin V8 Vantage is MW Design’s latest project. The Canadian tuners have worked on the styling, performance and aerodynamics of the car, resulting in what appears to be a quite impressive upgrade package.

First, the team created a digital concept, then picked out the color scheme, choosing the Helvellyn Frost to accentuate the lines. Next they picked the suspension and wheels. The M14 (Modulare-MWDesign colaboration) forged wheels were wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2’s measuring 255/35/20 in the front and 285/25/20 in the rear.

The aerodynamic additions include matte carbon fiber components which were given the matte white 2 tone effect to flow into the rest of the bodywork. The solid Ferrari Red calipers were pulled out and powder coated in a frost white with carbon fiber plate to match the body. Moreover, removable anodized red tow hooks were installed in the front and rear giving it a small hint of red to match the interior

After the major modifications were complete, the final styling details were applied. To match the color theme’s contrast and the matte black wheels, matte black was applied to the side vents, front grill, window trims and trunk lip area.

As for the performance upgrades, the MWDesign V8 Vantage powerkit includes race exhaust system, high flow 200 cell catalysts and modified engine software. The resulting unit boosts the engine to 445 horsepower, 65 horsepower more than the standard production Vantage. Further details including photos and pricing on the package are yet to be released.
