One of the top strikers in the world, “El Tigre” or “King of the Europa League” how fans call him, Colombian football striker Radamel Falcao recently rented a Lamborghini Aventador from a Miami rental shop. Considering he didn’t made it to the 2014 FIFA World Cup match between Colombia and Greece because of an injury, fans urged him to return to Brazil.
Now this 28-year old soccer player definitely scores whenever he puts his mind into it. And we don’t mean the girls, but the actual ball in the net. Falcao has been cited among the top strikers in the world, having surpassed Jurgen Klinsmann’s record of 15 goals (hitting 17) in a single annual club football European competition UEFA Champions League/UEFA Europa League campaign, back in 2011. In July the same year, Falcao received the Portuguesse Golden Ball award, becoming the first Colombian to do so.

Being part of the Colombian national football team, fans all over the world expected Falcao to play in last Sunday's match against Greece, the first one Colombia has played after 16 years of missing qualification for the FIFA World Cup tournament. But the Colombian player had injuried his anterior cruciate ligament six months ago in a French Cup match so he had to watch it from the side.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Radamel Falcao was in the stands, cheering his teammates he later described as his “family.” Before the game, he posted a photo on Twitter of himself and his wife, both in Colombian shirts sporting the “Hinchas Inseparables” line, which roughly translates to “inseparable fans.”

However, it would seem he also checked out a Lamborghini Aventador some time around the match, considering he was photographed at Lou La Vie luxury car rental over in Miami. So of course fans went all wild asking him to return to Brazil to back his teammates.

Well, you see, when you are one of the best strikers in the world, it comes natural that you drive only the fastest and most expensive rides available on the market. But why go for a rental when he could always buy one. It’s not like he can’t afford it or anything...
