How do you market a family car that will be bought by 40-something men with large families? Why, you use some of the most famous football players around, of course. After all, watching football is a national pastime across Europe.
That's precisely why Citroen took its new Gran C4 Picasso 7-seater MPV to the Arsenal Football Club, where four players tested it out in amusing way. We're not talking about bench-warmers, but four members of the first team: Olivier Giroud, Per Mertesacker, Santi Cazorla & Wojciech Szczsny.
The most interesting test these players performed is a "high-stakes demonstration of the Park Assist feature", as Citroen puts it, where the car automatically parks itself between two very expensive Italian exotics. One wrong move and the paintwork on the Ferrari or Maserati will be chipped.
