Arden Brings Four Tuned Rovers and Jaguars to Geneva

Not much time is left until the debut of the long awaited 2009 Geneva Auto Show. Even if we grow more and more inpatient as we anticipate the event, every car manufacturer or tuner who will attend the show have the habit of spoiling us every now and then with photos, specs or simple teasers of their upcoming presentations.

So is the case of German Krefeld based tuner Arden, who will unveil not one, not two or three but four of its Range Rover and Jaguar based creations. Arden will bring to the show two cars of both models: the AR6 Stronger and AR7 Highlander Range Rovers as well as the AJ20 WildCat and the AJ21Fast Cat Jaguars, Motor Authority reports.

The AR6 Stronger will shed a whole new light on the Range Rover Sport. Arden fitted the car with a carbon fiber body kit, 10-spoke 22 inch lightweight wheels and a customer-specific interior, but they didn't stop there.

The Rover was subject to engine and suspension modifications too. The heart of the car is now a 4.8l supercharged V8 that produces 520 horsepower. It allows the Stronger to jump from zero to sixty in 6.1 seconds an tops at 268 km/hour, europeancarweb.com reported.

Based on a Jaguar XKR, the WildCat received a sportier trim even if it didn't really need one. The Jag features big wheels, side skirts, rear and front fascias and a custom hood. Its sister, the FastCat, is based on the Jaguar XF and even if it looks a bit more aggressive than the WildCat, it resembles the factory-custom XFR. The two also got engine and interior tweaks.

Arden presented its first Jaguar conversion in 1982, based on the classic V12 limousine. In addition to the new model upgrading, the company also offers restoration services
