Roads with only two lanes (one for each direction of driving) are among the most dangerous roads in the world, because you are forced to drive onto the oncoming lane to overtake. However, since Russian drivers attempt the wildest and most dangerous overtaking maneuvers imaginable, they fail very often, it seems.
In the video posted here, we don’t really see how the whole thing starts out, but what we do see is a car narrowly missing being hit by an 18-wheeler and ending up on its side, in a ditch, on the side of the road. It seems that the driver attempted an overtaking maneuver but did not see the (rather large) truck heading his way and violently veered to the left to avoid a head on collision.
Nobody seems to have been hurt, your car ending up on its side just because you are a bad driver is a very bad story to tell on. Thankfully, this driver lives to drive on another day, hopefully with more care next time.
