While strolling the endless pathways the internet has to offer, we stumbled upon a cool car project that might be worth your attention. It’s an old Eagle SS, a kit car from long ago, which has been restored to its former glory somewhere in Russia (no details about the project are available).
EAgle Cars Limited was a British kit car maker bounded in the 80s, famous for making a car called the SS. This was based on another kit car from America called the Cimbria. The main difference was as the front, where the SS had headlights styled much like the famous Porsche 928.
he original Eagle SS was based on the VW Beetle. Its fiberglass body was molded in a single color, which explains why this particular model looks so rough.
However, we believe this kit car is actually a front-engined version based on the Ford Cortina, judging by the bonnet bulge.
Either way, the body of the old Eagle SS had to be meticulously repaired, after which came layers of primer, paint and clear varnish. The end result is a respectable version of the Union Jack, hand painted to incorporate shadows, just like the real flag.
