Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Giancarlo Fisichella spent the entire day yesterday making the best of their ski opportunities in the Madonna di Campoglio ski resort in northern Italy. Being the first time they met under the red colors of Ferrari, the three have been the main attraction for all photographers present at the 20th edition of the Wrooom event.
With their boss Stefano Domenicali still to arrive to the resort in northern Italy – he is scheduled to make his appearance later today, when also the first meeting with the international media is due to take place – Ferrari's drivers for the 2010 season of Formula One hit the slopes ahead of a large media audience.
“43 journalists and photographers came to Madonna di Campiglio, representing 95 newspapers and 20 countries,” said a report issued by the Ferrari media website.
Obviously, it was Felipe Massa who took matter into his own hands at the beginning, as he is the only driver in the current Ferrari lineup to have actually experienced the Wrooom event so far. Shortly after, Fisichella and Alonso joined in, alongside the Marlboro Ducati MotoGP riders Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner.
The MotoGP team also presented its new management team (but same drivers) for the 2010 season of the motorcycling series during the Wrooom.
Tomorrow will be the last day of “fun” in the Madonna di Campiglio for the Ferrari drivers, after which everyone will work full speed for the beginning of preparations for the 2010 F1 season. The official testing season starts on February 1st, in Valencia, and Ferrari will be there with both its drivers and the car for the upcoming season.
