Official Ducati MotoGP Team Presentation at Wrooom 2010

The Wrooom - Press Ski Meeting 2010 officially kicked off this week in the Dolomites, with the Ducati Marlboro Team introducing their 2010 riders lineup. The two riders, Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden, arrived at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort in northern Italy via helicopter, alongside the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro Formula 1 team which included the presence of Fernando Alonso, for the first time in Ferrari clothing.

As reported by the Ducati Corse official site, the Wrooom 2010 events will get underway tomorrow, with press conferences featuring the two Ducati Marlboro Team riders. Furthermore, Ducati’s General Manager Claudio Domenicali will also address the press during the same day and unveil the 2010 Ducati Desmosedici GP 10 machine.

However, while the MotoGP team was preparing for the arrival in the Italian mountains, the Ducati Superbike team had some significant internal reorganization to take care of. Riders Noriyuki Haga and Michel Fabrizio have both been confirmed for 2010, while Ernesto Marinelli took over the team manager position.

Furthermore, Marco Lozej will be the team’s technical manager, while also having the role as track engineer for Michel Fabrizio. Japanese rider Haga also has a new track engineer, Luca Ferraccioli, who will work alongside Marco Frigerio. The final change on Haga’s side is the appointment of a new tire technician, Massimo Meneghin.

The final addition to the restructured team is Una Conway, who comes on board as Team Coordinator and Hospitality Assistant.

“Wrooom, which also features events dedicated to Scuderia Ferrari, concludes on Friday 15th January,” said the release on Ducati’s website.
