Worldcarfans.com has recently set eyes on one of the kind which happens to be... for sale. So let's see... The Silicon Valley Auto Group in Los Gatos, California is going to sell a new 2008 Lamborghini Reventon, which has had only one previous owner, possibly coming from the State of Missouri.
The sports car reaches a maximum 340 km/h (211 mph) speed and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in just 3.4 seconds. In addition, it features 18-inch alloys which are wider at the rear than at the front, bi-xenon headlights, traction control and brake distribution. The vehicle comes in Grigio Reventon grey, with green-grey leather for the cabin.
As if all these weren't tempting enough, wait to hear the rest: the car as a 6.5-liter V12 dual overhead cam 48V engine that produces almost 650 horsepower and 487 ft-lb of torque.
But let's take a look at the vehicle history report which was obtained through CARFAX. It seems that its first owner bought it in June from STL Motorsports, a dealer in St. Louis. At that moment, the vehicle had about 58 miles on it. However, after only one month, the Reventon' s owner decided to sell it although he drove it only 15 miles. The reasons? Unknown, but we have a suspicion it has something to do with the world economic crisis.
Once the decision of selling was taken, the Reventon was transported to North Cali where it is quietly waiting for somebody to take it to his/her garage. Nothing is known about the price, but we may easily assume it will be really spicy.
