As CEO Giovanni Castiglioni already promised, MV Agusta is continuing to expand the line-up in 2014, and the Dragster is the most recent announcement of the Varese manufacturer.
The Dragster is said to share the same 3-cylinder mill now powering the Brutale, Rivale and rhe Turismo Veloce. This means that the MV Agusta Dragster could deliver some 125 hp which, combined with the expected lightweight build, should provide exceptional fun on the road.
As far as we know now, the Dragster will be based on the Rivale platform, but with a lower profile and seat, and a more compact and aggressive riding position.
A swingarm-mounted license plate holder and a free, uncluttered rear end will speak for the mean nature of the Dragster, while the front of the bike could be a restyled version of the Rivale machine.
While MV Agusta is keeping other details secret, moto.it estimates the price should be under the €13,500 ($18,380) mark. More is expected by the end of February.
