We’ll start by reminding you that the “Super” designation is an important one for the Italian automotive producer, as this was the designation used by a sporty version of the 70s’ Giulietta.
Returning to the present time, we’ll tell you that the company is offering the Super incarnation for both the 2011 model year saloon and the station wagon versions of the 159. The list of exterior goodies includes a satin finish for the door mirrors and custom 17-inch wheels that come with a five double-spoke design and a dark finish.
The driver and the passengers will be able to enjoy a navigation system with maps of European countries, a Blue & Me system with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a multi-function leather steering wheel, carbon fiber trimming and others.
As for the vehicle’s pricing, this starts at EUR 23,700 for the sedan and at EUR24,900 for the wagon. Both are powered by a 2.0 JTDM unit that delivers 136 hp.
Since we’re talking about the 159, we can’t help mentioning that we have a little crush (no big deal, really) on the Italian sedan, so we decided to take it for a test drive.
