Despite being Toyota’s US best-selling sedan, the Camry hasn’t received any visual updates since 2011. Time for a facelift is quickly coming by and rumors about the new model started last year after Bill Fay said at the LA Auto Show that the company will pay “significant attention” to the model in 2014.
Now, Toyota reportedly confirmed plans to bring a facelifted 2015 Camry at the New York Auto Show next month. Little is known about how the new model will look like, but last year Toyota’s Calty Design Research was saying the car will come with a “more emotional, more impactful design.” Other rumors tell that the new Camry will draw inspiration from the Scion FR-S, but we consider that a bit farfetched.

What we think is that the 2015 Camry will sport the new Keen Look and Under Priority design, which is best represented by the 2014 Toyota Corolla. So expect a more rounded front end with a big trapezoidal grille and some slightly redesigned lamps.

Since this will only be a mid-cycle model change, engines will remain pretty much the same - a 178 bhp 2.5-liter four-cylinder, 200 bhp 2.5-liter hybrid and a 3.5-liter V6 making 268 bhp.

Guess we'll all have to wait and see what Toyota considers a "more emotional" design for the 2015 Camry. Stay tuned.
