We bet most of you motorsport fans probably heard about Adrian Newey from Formula One. Working for Red Bull Racing since 2006, Adrian Newey is synonym with performance, world titles and some of the best single-seaters ever designed.
Besides being successful Formula One designer and engineer, Newey is also an occasional racing driver and an avid car collector. However, his driving skills don’t seem to be that good, as he crashed more than a couple of cars, including a Ford GT40 and a Jaguar E-Type.
And if you’re tempted to think he learned a thing or two after wrecking those expensive vehicles, you’d better forget about it, because Newey did it again. This time he crashed his Lamborghini Super Trofeo race car at Silverstone last weekend, and did it in a humiliating fashion while he was warming his tires. We don’t know about you, but we’ve been watching motorsport for years now and we haven’t seen such poor driving in a very long time.
Scroll below to check it out for yourselves. Can you believe that’s the engineer responsible for three world championship-winning Formula One cars?
