AD Group Sells Four Lola Race Cars

Race car collectors (or racing teams in need for a ride, for that matter) are in for a treat next week, as their world is about to be rocked by an announcement of major proportions: four MG Lola racers, all with real racing pedigree and some with one Le Mans title or in their trophy case are as of now up for grabs.

The news come from AD Group, one of the teams who like to take their business on endurance race tracks. The team announced today that it is selling three MG Lola and one RML Lola, citing as the main reason the renewal of their racing stable.

The first racer up for grabs is a MG Lola EX257, a former competitor in the 2001 and 2002 Le Mans with Mark Blundell, Julian Bailey and Kevin McGarrity behind the wheel. The second is the MG Lola EX257, a car which was raced in the same events by drivers Anthony Reid, Warren Hughes and Jonny Kane.

The last of the MG's is the Lola EX264, winner of the LMP2 class at Le Mans in 2005 with Mike Newton, Thomas Erdos and Warren Hughes on board. The sale offer is completed by the RML Lola HPD Coupe, winner of the team and drivers' titles in the Le Mans Series LMP2.

AD Group, who from now on will partner with Honda Performance Development (HPD) for the series, is selling the above-mentioned vehicles complete with spares packages. No details on the price asked for the four racers were released. Additional details about the cars and their history can be found at the following link.
