Abt VW Golf VI GTD 190 HP

The tuners at Abt Sportsline have released a new upgrade package for the new Volkswagen Golf VI GTD, that now has 190 HP/140 kW and 390 Nm of torque thanks to a new ECU. This enables to car to sprint from naught to sixty in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).

“This is because after its treatment in the Allgaeu the abbreviation now stands for “Gewinner Tanken Diesel – Winners tank diesel”. The Golf still retains, of course, its economical qualities, as the fuel consumption remains at the low level of the series diesel version,” a company statement reads.

A new bodykit for the model is also available and includes a new front spoiler, front grille, side sills, rear spoiler, rear apron set and the typical ABT 4-pipe rear muffler. Furthermore, Abt also recommends sporty AR and BR wheels in 18 and 19 inch, which are available in combination with high-performance tires. The tuning company also has the ABT suspension springs on offer.
