As the owner of this E36 admits, most of us like the BMW 3 Series mostly because of the tuning and aftermarket options that are extensive and easier to find than in other BMW models' cases.
This one is a truly unique vehicle because all the work was done by the owner and everything is to his own liking. He started of with a stock 320i and soon decided to ad some M-Sport elements to the body kit.
Actually, as you can notice, the car has the full E36 M3 package on. However, that wasn't enough for Donny. He found a set of Hartge wheels at a friend and, even though they were in pretty bad shape, he decided to buy and refinish them. The end result was repainted in a Titanium silver color.
Next up was the engine. The original one was a M52B20 4-cylinder 2-liter engine with 150 HP and 140 lb-ft (190 Nm) of torque. He changed it to a M52B28 2.8-liter engine that delivers 190 HP and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque. Along with this new model, the gearbox had to be changed too and instead of the original automatic transmission, the car is now fitted with a manual 5-speed one.
The suspension has been changed with KW Variant 2 coilovers coupled with Racing Dynamics sway bars that also provided the lowered stance of the car, without flaring the wheel arches.
The interior was heavily modified. The seats are now Recaro, the steering wheel and the gearshift knob come from the E36 M3. Of course, the car got a new paint job, other various detailing that are just too many to write down. Bottom line, every BMW owner wants to have a car that is to his liking and simply makes him happy whenever he gets in.
