A Mercedes-Benz GLA Coupe Wouldn't Look Out of Place

Now that the Mercedes-Benz GLA (X156) has finally started appearing in European showrooms and will soon reach the United States as well, a diversification of the model range is somewhat expected to happen as well.
That is not going to happen as far as powerplants go, as the GLA is already available with any conceivable engine that offers between 136 hp and 360 hp in the 45 AMG variant.

How about a diversification when comes to the types of body available, then? As most of you probably know, the Range Rover Evoque is one of the direct competitors for the Mercedes-Benz GLA and is available with both three or five doors.

Sure, the GLA is already sporty-looking enough and the rear seats are a bit more cramped than what you would expect in an SUV of its size, you may say, but that could also be said about the RR Evoque as well.

We actually find it pretty unusual that Mercedes-Benz doesn't offer three-door versions of both the GLA (X156) and the A-Class (A176), especially since the previous generation of the A-Class – which was by far not as sporty-looking – had one, while the concept previewing the current A-Class had three doors as well.

Either way, this doesn't stop Photoshop artists from around the world to create three-door versions of the GLA so that people can get an opinion about how such a model could look like. We fist received a GLA Coupe from Theophilus Chin back in 2013, but now it's time to see how Auto Projecoes had a go at it. What do you guys think?
