Despite having been launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013, the Mercedes-Benz GLA (X156) is just starting to hit showrooms in Europe, with the United States to also become a market for the compact crossover/SUV in the Fall.
The fourth model based on the Mercedes-Benz MFA (Modular Front Architecture) platform, it is the smallest crossover/SUV in the ever-expanding three-pointed star range of similar vehicles.

Even though it will probably be used predominantly in busy city traffic and the occasional trip to the mountains, the biggest criticism that the model received since its unveil was the rather low ground clearance compared with “a real SUV”, despite the fact that all its competitors are pretty much in the same ballpark.

With an optional AMG bodykit and sports package, which minimizes the ground clearance even more, the Mercedes-Benz GLA (X156) is more like a lifestyle SUV which won't be bought for its off-road credentials anyway, so it comes as no surprise that Brabus decided to give it an even lower stance and a set of sportier wheels.

The GLA 220 CDI 4Matic in the adjacent image gallery is sporting a set of Monoblock F cross spoke design painted in “Liquid Titanium” and engulfed in 255/40 tires with a height of 19 inches.

On top of the awesome-looking wheels, Brabus also changed the stock springs in the suspension with sportier and lower ones while also keeping a comfortable overall setting, therefore transforming the car into a crossover/SUV that can handle the Autobahn even better on its way to a ski resort in the Austrian Alps.
