Great news from the Spyder riders' community, as the 2013 850 North American Can-Am Spyder Owners Event which took place in Maggie Valley, N.C. this past weekend, brought together around 850 Spyders and more than 1,300 people. This is the largest Spyder gathering since this series of events was launched, 6 years ago.
We're happy to see the community growing more united and bigger by the year, as we're also happy to see the good signs coming from the market.
Yves Leduc, vice-president and GM of the North America division added that "the presence of so many passionate Spyder owners illustrates the health of the brand and the growing nature of our rider community."
Among the many prizes awarded at the North American Can-Am Spyder Owners Event, two were the most important. The first was the customization contest, and the winner was Danny Webb from Lawton, Oklahoma, with his hand-painted custom Spyder ST. A panel of BRP judges examined all entries.
The other grand prize was an all-expenses paid trip for two to one of the next year's European Can-Am Roadster Owners event. The lucky winner of the European Spyder vacation was Susette Hieronymus of South Carolina, randomly chosen out of all eligible attendants.
