827HP Porsche GT2 Speed Biturbo by Wimmer RS

Following their successful tuning package for Porsche GT2, the tuners at Wimmer RS now come to present a new update. Dubbed GT2 Speed, the 827 horsepower car(yes, you’ve read it right), based on the standard 997 GT2 will likely make your mouth water just thinking of it.

The performance figures released by Wimmer speak for themselves, as the Porsche GT2 Speed Biturbo does not only develop 827 horsepower and 948 Nm of torque, but it can also sprint from naught to sixty in 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 378 km/h (234.9 mph).

If you are just as curious as we were, then you would like to hear more about how Wimmer got to this performance levels. Well, the guys added two custom turbochargers and revisions to the engine block, pistons, connecting rods, injector nozzles, sports camshafts, inlet system, and throttle valve.

They also installed an intercooler, replaced the engine software, and added a specially tuned performance exhaust system. “After great engineering works, the vehicle is not only ready for serial production but also complies with Euro-4 Standard,” Wimmer advertises its latest package in a release for the press.

Now that we got the technical specs all figured out, lets give you a glimpse at the car’s design upgrades. The bodykit includes a carbon fiber rear lip spoiler, carbon fiber rear-view mirrors, H&R sport springs, and Sportec wheels outfitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires.

Set to be unveiled at the Essen Motor Show, the Wimmer RS GT2 Speed will be priced from €281,000 (about $420,000). Wimmer will also be showcasing its Porsche GT2, Ferrari F430 Scuderia and the VW Golf VI GTI.
