Unlike Ford, which is counting on the hype surrounding the S650 Mustang to carry it into the next model year, where the refreshed 2024 F-150 series awaits, Toyota is one of the most prolific carmakers in the world – including across the crucial North American region.
Sure, the Blue Oval company doesn't even need more to keep the headlines – the F-150 is the best-selling version of the F-Series, and along with the all-new Super Duty, it will surely pose an insurmountable threat to its main competitors – the Chevy Silverado plus GMC Sierra and the newly upgraded 2025 Ram 1500.

As for the S650 Ford Mustang, the seventh generation is keeping the banner up for V8-powered pony and muscle cars alone - with the GT, Dark Horse, and GTD variants. Meanwhile, its lifetime rivals are either retreating from the public's eye, like the Chevy Camaro or undergoing a transformative EV evolution, like the Dodge Charger. As such, it is no wonder the 'Stang is under constraint due to high demand.

On the other hand, Toyota is hellbent on snatching the US sales crown from General Motors and is dropping all-new or refreshed models left and right in the North American region. Some of them are veritable superstars, by the way, such as the first-ever 2024 Grand Highlander and 2025 Crown Signia crossover SUVs or the N400 Tacoma and the related 2024 Land Cruiser.

Curiously, one model sits calmly in its place – the 2024 Toyota 4Runner, an off-roader that has been around in its current form since 2009 and only got some updates along the way instead of an all-new generation. Alas, everyone – including the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators – thinks it's time for the sixth generation to arrive alongside the 2025 model year.

As such, the good folks from the TheAutoReport channel on YouTube have imagined the potential redesign of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner with modern AI-assisted CGI cues. This particular unofficial design is aimed at TRD Pro enthusiasts and naturally features some extreme and entirely hypothetical design cues. Even better, the resident pixel master didn't just create this mid-size off-road-focused SUV and let it roam imagination land alone.

Instead, the channel also dreamed about the unofficial arrival of the refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco to clash with the 4Runner in fantasy land. This one is also created with help from AI software, so don't seek perfection – instead, the CGI expert quickly delves into different potential variations of the envisioned design. So, which one is your favorite – the all-new Toyota 4Runner or the facelifted 2025 Ford Bronco?

In case neither appeals to you, there's one final alternative – which already resides in the real world. That would be the updated 2024 Jeep Wrangler, now starting from $32,095 for the regular models or $50,695 if you prefer the electrified Wrangler 4xe.
