Ladies and gentlemen Porschephiles, there is very little time separating us from the introduction of the 992-generation Porsche 911, which should land by the end of the year. And with prototypes currently completing their final testing stage, such a vehicle has recently been spotted in California.
The 2019 Neunelfer had stopped for a brief meal at a gas station in Leucadia, with a quick-lensed Instagrammer catching the thing on camera.

As you'll get to see in the resulting piece of footage, which awaits you at the bottom of the page, the Porsha's full dashboard is exposed.

The most important change comes from the instrument cluster. While the traditional center-mounted analog tacho has been retained, this is flanked by a pair of screens, so the five-instrument cluster we're all used to is still here.

A larger infotainment screen now sits in the upper part of the center dash and, as previous cabin spy material has shown, Zuffenhausen hasn't fully given up on its one-button-per-command philosophy. In fact, the said spy session (you'll find the pics in the gallery above) has allowed us to notice that the 992 will get a Wet driving mode.

As for the exterior of the sportscar, the greatest change comes from the futuristic taillights. Right above them, we'll find a massive active rear wing that somehow reminds us of the 959's posterior.

The nose of the Porscha isn't all that changed, even though the new air intakes might not please everybody.

Keep in mind that German engineers are also out testing 992 GT3 and 992 Turbo prototypes, but these will arrive next year as 2020 models.

The carmaker has already confirmed some form of hybridization, albeit without offering further details on the matter.

Nevertheless, purists should be thrilled about the high chances of the GT3 retaining its naturally aspirated flat-six and its stick shift.
